What makes you an established and safe club?

We have been an associated club since 2013 through the national governing body of gymnastics-  British Gymnastics, we register our club on an annual basis through the NGB and have our own club insurance as well as individual insurance through BG

What Safeguarding and Child protection is in place at your club?

All of our safeguarding and child protection can be seen in our policies. In addition to this, all our qualified coaches have been on a safeguarding course and those over 16 all have DBS checks.

What Qualifications do the coaches have?

All the coaches are qualified through BG, with proficiency/gymnastic helper levels for junior coaches and level 1 for coaches. Senior coaches hold level 2 or above with many other add on modules and qualifications. For more details see our meet the coaches section.

What ages/ability levels do you cater for?

As a club, our goal is to promote gymnastics for all and engage as many children as we can in physical activity. Gymnastics is a key sport that enables the development of motor control and competency and is encouraged throughout schools. Therefore, we strive to be an inclusive club and offer classes for all ages and abilities.

What are your Health and Safety protocols?

We have risk assessments for all our venues and have trained our staff in all health and safety matters. The policies can all be found in the relevant tab. We have 2 first-aid trained members of staff in the room at all times and have emergency procedures detailed in all of our staff training.

What opportunities are available through the club?

We promote children to enjoy themselves whilst at gymnastics with the aid of coaches to enhance their progression and development as gymnasts. We offer opportunities for children to take part in recreational competitions with our other sites, sparking friendly competition (these are not mandatory and are used as fundraising events for the club). We also offer children the chance to be creative and imaginative with our club displays, these are performed to the parents as a fun way to show off the children's skills and showcase routines and equipment.

What payments do I have to make for my child to take part?

All lesson fee prices can be seen under the sessions and fees tabs. Lesson fees are to be paid monthly by direct debit, in order to secure your child's space. Every September children will also incur a £14 Club fee, which supports any of the club's equipment costs and coach education. Children will also require individual insurance via British Gymnastics in order to participate (the first two sessions are covered by club insurance), this is an annual payment every 1st of October and goes directly to BG.
