ABOUT SSGC
Sessions

SSGC is a fun and welcoming community Gymnastics Club that aims to help your child reach their potential within gymnastics whilst helping with all the core life skills along the way. We are a British Gymnastics club and adhere to their rules and regulations, with help from BG we promote gymnastics for all. All our coaches have the appropriate qualifications, child protection and DBS certificates. SSGC is continually developing and evolving and as a community sports club, parents are encouraged to be a part of this development to help maintain the high quality of gymnastics SSGC provides their children.

All fees are paid by instant bank payment or direct debit through GoCardless and Xero.

Joining Fees​
​
All new starters will receive the opportunity to have two pay as you go trial sessions before committing. Once the commitment has been made to continue each gymnast will be charged a £14 affiliation fee (£8 for siblings) and must pay for their British Gymnastics membership.

British Gymnastic Membership/Insurance
​
For insurance purposes, each child must have their own individual British Gymnastics membership.
Your child’s BG membership will need to be renewed every October and will be paid directly to British Gymnastics. Failure to provide membership will result in refusal of use of the premises as this is a mandatory and legal requirement.
BG membership fees for 2024/2025 are £18.00 for Pre-school membership and £24.00 for community membership.

RISE Award Scheme
​
The RISE Award scheme is associated with British Gymnastics and is the current award scheme that has replaced the proficiency awards. All children will be put into the system and the badges they have already gathered will be taken into consideration with the new levels.
This system requires your child to have a current BG membership, without it children cannot be added to the system. Furthermore, the coaches and parents/guardians cannot track the child’s progress and they will therefore be unable to attain any badges.

Parent and Toddler Sessions
​
Join us and try out our parent and toddler gymnastic classes, these are a great way to introduce your children to gymnastics in a fun and relaxed setting allowing them to discover through play.
​
Our sessions are suitable for children from 16 months to 3 years old.
All sessions are fully supervised by parents/carers/appropriate adults. It’s a safe introduction to soft play equipment, trampette and other modified apparatus all overseen by a qualified instructor.
​
These sessions offer the perfect way to socialise with like-minded parents, as well as watch your child grow and develop fundamental skills like motor control development, spatial awareness, confidence and much more.

Holiday Sessions​
​​
Holiday classes are open to everyone, members and non-members.
​
The link to each set of holiday sessions will be posted here when they are available -
When registering your child for holiday classes you must provide the following information: your child/children's name, age, any medical information, and parent/guardian contact details.
Payment will be via instant bank pay upon booking.
Registration closes three days before each event. If classes are full, or you would like to register after the closing date please get in touch, we will do our utmost to accommodate, adapt and add in more classes if necessary.
